Casa Monte Vista - Dream Getaway

We loved staying at this house. It was close to town but also private and quiet. We felt very welcome and the house had everything we needed to be comfortable for the week and very dog friendly with yard and clean up station. The local welcome treats were a nice touch. Would definitely stay again.

We were up with our 3 kids for a Christmas ski vacation. The house is so much bigger than we had expected and was so clean and comfortable. I know it's pet friendly (we had our dog with us) but it was clean by non-pet friendly standards. We had some issues and despite it being a holiday week, the team was all over it and with great communication. The showers have high end products, the house is well-stocked with paper goods, the washer is a top loader (so not stinky or moldy), the beds were all comfortable with nice and warm linens. Our dog and kids loved the front yard and the neighborhood is nice and safe for dog-walking. The house is less than 5 minutes from the grocery store and 10 minutes to the center to historic downtown shopping/gallery area. This property was amazing, in no small part to how great the management team is. We really enjoyed our stay and we'll stay again if ever in the area.

We can not imagine a more perfect place to stay in Taos. The location is close enough to town activities and far enough away for a peaceful time. The views are amazing the management staff went above and beyond. Not only were are dogs welcomed they were also spoiled with treats upon arrival. This is a great home for a family. We were in town for a short visit, and this house accommodated three generations perfectly! The hosts were great with communication!

Great home to share with friends as the primary suite and next biggest bedroom are on opposite ends. Nice, spacious living area. Good outdoor sitting space with a small dining table and grill. Awesome living room view of the sacred mountains. Quiet, nice, newer neighborhood. Primary bed was comfortable with good quality bedding.Awesome dog friendly stucco walled yard. Very well equipped kitchen but with some teflon frying pans that need replacement. Short drive to plaza. Very attentive, responsive hosts. I would definitely stay here again.
